Basically Albrecht, and his "cabal" of grad students, did many studies

relating to the concentration of elements on the soil colloid..Many

soils were treated and centrifuged to the point where just the finest

clay fraction was present,,,,, to the point and fineness whereby one

could see through this "soil" fraction(like jello). That is how

finely they separated the cLAY FRACTION.

To this, many different elements were added to demonstrate causal

relationship with nutrient content and vitality(growth pattern, bulk,

general appearance, etc) of the resultant growth.

Base saturation relates to these concentrations of elements on the soil

colloid.

There is too much info in this area. One needs to crack the book , so to

speak.Without that effort, it is hard to understand how this relates

,,,dont understand it myself, yet.

Good luck in your quest

Today MSNBC reported a link tracing salmonella food poisoning to

alfalfa sprouts. The bacteria apparently is dormant in the seed

and multiplies rapidly in the 3-5 days after germination. Those

of you who were considering using sprouts for feed should check

this out on the MSNBC web site. I wonder if this might be a

problem with other sprouts. The article speculated that the

original contamination of the seeds occurred in the field from

organic sources.

I am not surprised about the contamination from organic sources. I am almost

certain that the organic source contained chicken manure. Chicken manure is

a magnificent of Salmonella.

Check whether I am correct. Sofar, most Salmonella contaminations I have

heard of came from that particular source, since chicken are known to have

this bacterium in their guts.
